Sigma Pi Sigma? That some kind of fraternity?
Sigma Pi Sigma is the national physics honor society that is associated with the Society of Physics Students. Students in physics and related fields with high GPAs can inquire how to join. Sigma Pi Sigma membership has a number of benefits and certainly looks good on any resume.
Sounds Good! When Is The Next Induction?
Our last induction was Fall 2007 in a small ceremony. If there is more interest, we can arrange for a larger ceremony, to both honor older members as well as induct new ones. Please contact us if you are interested in joining.
Basic requirements (though no guarantee!):
- 9+ hrs of physics classes
- >= 3.0 physics GPA
- >= 3.0 overall GPA
- Must be a member of Society of Physics Students national. Thus, you must pay dues to the national office. Ask us how to do that.
